Megjelent a Nyelvtudományi Intézet Többnyelvűségi Kutatóközpontjának legújabb kötete: Nemzetiségi nyelvi tájkép Magyarországon

A Nemzetiségi nyelvi tájkép Magyarországon című elektronikus kiadvány két részből áll: egy
tanulmánykötetből és egy digitális fotóalbumból. A tanulmányok és az album a magyarországi
nemzetiségekről szólnak, és a beások, bolgárok, horvátok, németek, örmények, romák, románok,
szerbek, szlovákok, szlovének és ukránok közösségeire vonatkozó nyelvi tájkép egy-egy szeletét
ismertetik. A kötet célja a nemzetiségek jelenlétét megmutatni a magyarországi nyelvi tájképben. A
szerzők az általuk bemutatott közösségek tagjai, aktivistái és kutatói, akik maguk választották ki
tanulmányuk központi témáját. Ezek a témák segítenek abban, hogy mélyebb ismereteket szerezzünk
arról, ahogyan a magyarországi nemzetiségek nyelve és kultúrája a nyelvi tájképben megjelenik, de
abban is, hogy kiderüljön: hol nem jelenik meg, hol hiányzik. A kötet bevezető tanulmánya a
magyarországi nemzetiségekre irányuló közös és összehasonlító nyelvészeti kutatások két évtizedét
foglalja össze.

A járvány okozta veszélyhelyzet hatása a humán(tudományi) kutatásokra című konferencia

Az MTA–ELTE Lendület Lingvális Artikuláció Kutatócsoportja – az ELTE Magyar Nyelvtudományi és Finnugor Intézete a Nemzeti Kutatási, Fejlesztési és Innovációs Hivatal Tématerületi Kiválósági Programjának támogatásával – A járvány okozta veszélyhelyzet hatása a humán(tudományi) kutatásokra címmel online konferenciát rendezett. Az esemény időpontja: 2020. október 22., helyszíne: a MS Teams online felülete volt. A konferencia kerekasztalai és előadásai számos nézőpontból, kontextusban és színtéren vizsgálták a világjárványhoz kapcsolódó korlátozásoknak a kutatókra és kutatásokra gyakorolt rövid és hosszabb távú következményeit. A tudományos rendezvény egyik kerekasztalán való részvétele mellett önálló előadást tartott a Többnyelvűségi kutatóközpont vezetője, Dr. Bartha Csilla is. Ebben a pandémia nyelvi vonatkozásait és a hozzáférés kérdését járta körül a marginalizált (pl. a jelnyelvhasználó siketek és a romani/  romani-magyar kétnyelvű) csoportok, közösségek esetében, majd pedig az MTA-NYTI NyelvEsély Szakmódszertani Kutatócsoport járványügyi helyzettel kapcsolatos új kihívásait és az ezekre adott megoldásait foglalta össze.
